We that are young
Shall never see so much, nor live so long
In 2023/24,"T'Will be a Storm" #CSFLear saw our highest ever number of festivals, participating classes and schools. More than 2500 children in 93 classes from 62 schools journeyed back to the ancient realm of Albion for Shakespeare's much loved tragedy King Lear. We continued to work with our wonderful theatre partners The Lowry, Royal Exchange Theatre, New Vic Theatre, Derby Theatre and Middleton Arena (part of Your Trust Rochdale). Many, including our Royal Exchange Theatre, Derby and Stockport festivals saw increased capacity so that we could offer more children the opportunity to experience the transformative power of classroom drama and theatre.
