Although we're unable to complete the Children's Shakespeare Festivals and Speech Bubbles this academic year, we're busy planning for next year and thinking about how we can help to shape a brighter future for the young people with whom we work. In the meantime, we’ve created some home learning resources that we think you'll enjoy.
If you were taking part in the Children’s Shakespeare Festival this year (or even if you weren’t but fancy some Shakespeare home learning!) then take a look at our 'Romeo and Juliet At Home' page to watch our 'Romeo and Juliet Story Zoom', quiz and lots of other activities. And move over Joe Wickes, there's even a 'Romeo and Juliet Work Out' for you to do at home!
Speech bubbles is a story-acting programme that supports the communication, confidence and well-being of children in KS1. The Speech Bubbles team have created two booklets of drama games for KS1 and early years children to play at home, which you can download here:
As schools begin to open more widely and some children return to the classroom, here’s a resource designed for school staff who want to use drama with small groups of pupils in EYFS and KS1.
