Introduction


Our Festival drawing in schools from a wide area including Cheshire, Manchester, Tameside and Bolton  is the highly-successful descendant of our original project. Some of our schools have been with us since the start of the project five years ago.


We are very grateful to the Royal Exchange and its vibrant Education Department, and in particular to Philip Lord and Amanda Dalton for their support. We hope to develop an even closer relationship over the next few years.


This year  there are some fourteen schools involved. The schools are:


The performances are on Friday 1st and Friday 15th June at 2pm.

The  performances will take place on Friday 16th March  at the Royal Exchange Theatre. This will be preceded by a technical rehearsal at the theatre on Thursday  15th March 2012.
