Introduction

New for 2012 our new partnership with The Lowry sets out to bring the wonderful experiences of the Children’s Shakespeare Festivals to a new range of schools - starting with Salford schools and those in adjoining areas.

We are very excited to be working with Lynsey and Michael of the Education and Outreach Department to bring our plans to fruition.

The projects are described in some detail on our introductory pages here

but in a nut-shell, our festivals are large-scale inter-school projects which offer extensive CPD opportunities in developing a creative curriculum through Drama and offering pupils a wide experience of classroom  exploration of a Shakespeare text ,all the way to performance in a professional theatre space.

To read the comments of schools already involved click here.

We are looking for just eight schools. Could you be one of them? The links on the right will allow you to explore the Festivals in more depth and ask any further questions you might have.

Also, feel free to call John Doona on 07746 554237 to talk it all through.

Perhaps your best next more if our work is of interest to you is to attend one of our forth-coming Festival performances at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester. The dates and times are:

March 16th (1.30pm), June 1st (2pm) and June 15th (2pm) .

Please get in touch to request a ticket.

We look forward to hearing from you.
