"Both they, and I, have been inspired by the project. It has been enlightening for me to see how drama can be used to form the basis of so much creativity and make words 'come to life'. Many children who were previously reluctant writers discovered that, by becoming a character or being in a setting, they were capable of writing and actually enjoyed it. I look forward.....with renewed enthusiasm for teaching.”
Susan Jones, Shavington PS,
“Thanks for an inspirational time. I am buzzing with all I have learnt and can't wait to start delivering the scheme of work as well as incorporating more drama in other aspects of my teaching.”

“Staff and children thoroughly enjoyed the drama sessions. The staff were impressed by (the) approach with the children and the fact that (staff were) able to adapt the programme to suit different groups of children. The drama sessions were of excellent quality.”
Burnley Brow Primary, Oldham.
“The children all thoroughly enjoyed their drama day and the work was pitched perfectly with the content and direction being aimed at the 3 different year groups who attended in a very appropriate way. We look forward to working with you again in the very near future.”
Crumpsall Lane Primary, Manchester
“The children absolutely loved it! Feedback was:
Excellent, definitely do it again'
' Very enjoyable, wish we could do it again'
'Nothing was bad about it ... wish we could have practiced the fight scene for longer!'
'Wish we had more time to do it'
@ I wouldn't recommend to other schools because they'll book it up and we won't get to do it as soon!'
Everything about it was superb! It worked well as the children had some prior knowledge about the Greeks, yet they also learned new facts and history. Peter was very knowledgaeble and had a great relationship with the kids immediately ... recommended it to other year groups already!”
Paul Cowburn, St Paul’s Salford,
Just like to say a big thank you for all you have taught me about drama!
….. The children have been really engaged and we have added a huge role on the wall to track the feelings of the main character . I never thought Y2 children would be able to achieve all that they have experiencing most of the 12 drama techniques- or that I could have taught such a fantastic unit.
The literacy coordinator - my teacher and mentor has not stopped telling the rest of the school about the unit of work.....thanks again.
